The ugly story as condensed from postings on a public message board and Internet research.
1. Screenshots of the a deleted forum posting on the three sixty five website, which questioned the Westlife photos and music...

3. The AF base that "Chad" claims to work on no longer exists in the form they claim. Cathy claimed Chad was trained at Colorado Springs and Langley, but the Air Force base listing doesn't list either of them for the kind of training Chad supposedly has.
4. Her cake lady has no wedding booked on her date and no appointment when "Cathy" said the appointment was. The hotel she claims to be using for her wedding has no record of either Cathy or Chad.
5. Her claims that Chad's band opened for Willa Ford in front of a crowd of 85,000 have been found to be pretty much impossible.
6. On top of that, Chad's band is supposedly signed or is signing with Columbia. Willa Ford is an Atlantic recording artist. Not very often will you send a new band out to open for a competing lable's artist.
7. The band's website is RUN by Cathy (even though they are supposedly signing with Columbia). There are no pictures of the band on there... just 2 fuzzy pics of the beefcake FI. (These pics have been removed.)
8. (Before this broke,) the only 2 people who POST on that band site are Cathy and Chad. (Gavin and Bill suddenly signed in the day this broke and started talking.)
9. We are now assuming Cathy and kristen&randy are the same person, since no one on the South Carolina board every heard of krandy until she began defending beachbitch.
10. Per Cathy, Chad had brain cancer...then he recovered...then he was a pilot...um. Ok.
11. In addition, he as an ASSOCIATES in aerospace something or other and this makes him an Officer. Last I checked you had to have a 4 year degree to accomplish this. Still waiting to get this verified. Verification: Princeton Review: Air Force Overview.
12. The band is supposedly on tour in November...same month as the wedding. So, are they getting married or going on tour or both?
13. She bought a yacht...a HUGE yacht...which was supposedly docked somewhere in Myrtle Beach. This has been verified as false as well.
14. She is inviting over 1000 people to her wedding, including Billy Joel and his wife Katie. Um...sure.
15. "Chad" sounds just as convoluted as his wife to be. He claims on his website that they opened for 2 "big names" back in May...yet he couldn't say who they were?? hmmmmm
16. Beachbitch claims the photos on the website were not Westlife, but the above evidence says otherwise.
17. No ticket outlet has any record of this band or tour dates. Tours are set up many months in advance, not 3 or less.
18. Every time she is asked about Westlife photos, she says she can't talk about band business. However, she splashed band business all over the 'net in the last week before this broke.
19. Chad claimed he was a DJ for XM station 20 and would be on that night. Many Knotties listened and heard no one. It's been confirmed that channel 20 is run from the Washington, DC studios. They do not have any on-air personalities and certainly not from SC.
20. Chad claims to have played football for Tennessee. Was this before or after his brain cancer? According to the U of T website there is not a Chad of any kind on the roster. You'll need Adobe to view the file.
21. The University of Tennessee does not offer Associates Degrees in Aviation. They are a 4 year school. They offer 4 year degrees in Aerospace Engineering which is totally different.
22. A Knottie found an article and did some math and the "Gavin" she said was their Best man she also said was Tom Fazio's son. The real Gavin Fazio is only 19. You need Adobe to read this article.
23. Beachbride_05, a.k.a kristen&randy and Gods only knows how many other identities, says she's telling the truth because she wasn't banned and the Knottie who broke this (notyetmarried) was. Later admissions by another knottie (cstew) show that cstew had NYM banned for "ageist" comments and BB just tagged along and kept complaining to continue getting NYM alternate IDs banned.
24. Beachbitch claims to have a son, a huge pink diamond ring, a yacht, and be rich as Roosevelt.
25. The fans of the real Westlife don't seem very happy and confirm the songs are stolen. Read their comments on bandlink.net.
26. Chad looks suspiciously like Freddy, a 19yo from Melbourne, FL. "Chad"'s pictures are actually Freddy's. See photos below.
27. Cathy said in an email 365 was previously known as twenty_4_seven. The music is the same as Westlife.

In both instances, the music belongs to Westlife. Neither site listed above is owned by a record label. Anyone can submit files for download. If the songs have been removed, please let me know. I downloaded them all.

29. Someone found Chad's profile on www.myspace.com Not 5 minutes later, it had been deleted, but not before we got screen shots. Notice his marital status is single. I wonder if he knows he's engaged to a psycho?

32. On one of the "band" websites, Cathy claims Chad is "the youngest member" of the band at 20. On another, she claims he is 22. Even if he is 22, I doubt he'd have done everything she says based on education and military requirements, especially considering the blatant and ongoing inaccuracies in their stories.

to get my degree , you can not be a pilot without a 2 year degree , to train you have to be in college working on that degree, when you obtain your degree you can then become a pilot

I have decided to leave the Knot boards because I can see that as long as I remain, drama surrounding me, my fiance, and the band he is a member of will continue.
The band does not deserve this and I should never have tried to defend myself since all I did was make things worse for them and I see that now.
I can't make anyone believe us but those that know us know we don't lie. Like I have said before very soon everyone will see we lied about absolutely nothing.
To those I may have offended that was never my intention and I apologize for this.
I do not want the Knot message boards to turn into what they are turning into and this is why I am choosing to leave.
I have already talked with Elizabeth Rundle at the Knot regarding my decision to leave. Just for the record I am not banned but I am choosing to do this because the Knot's purpose is for brides and brides-to-be to use the boards to help one another and lately all there has been is hate and lies told.
We are exhausted trying to defend ourselves and it is not worth it to us anymore.
I would have loved to have hosted a GTG in the Myrtle Beach area so knotties from around there could have seen that we are real people and we lied about nothing but after all of this I am sure no one would have attended.
I don't know what I did to anyone for all of this to have happened for I am still trying to figure that one out. I only tried to help other knotties and make friends and this is where it gets me.
I know there will be talking about me after I leave the boards tonight but I know I am above this once and for all and I am doing this because I want other knotties to be able to use these boards as they were intended.
For those that are curious about the band after tonight, they can e-mail me in two weeks at southerngrits_05@yahoo.com and I will tell you the label they are signed with and you can go and verify this for yourself. They will be featured on this label's site as well and you can go there as well.
I think it is terrible the way we were treated when we did absolutely nothing to anyone. To try to tear us down like many of you did is just wrong.
I wish all of you the best and I hope those that have kept this drama going will please stop now. You can say you won since I am leaving.
Please let those knotties who wish to use these boards for what they were intended for be able to do so without continuing talking about others in the way you have.
The world is full of enough hate and I thought the knot was a place where we could all come together and help one another out during the planning of our weddings.
